Cookies and storage

Browser storage used by jevai.me.

This notice lists the storage JEV AI (jevai.me) uses in your browser and how to manage it. For the wider picture of how we handle personal information, see Section 4 of the Privacy Policy.

Strictly necessary (cannot be disabled)

  • Authentication cookies: set by the login system (Better Auth) to keep your session signed in, identify your account, protect account operations, and prevent cross-site request forgery. Blocking or deleting them signs you out and may make account features, settings pages, and checkout unavailable.

Functional (can be disabled)

  • Theme preference: stored in browser local storage to remember your light or dark mode choice.
  • Language preference: a cookie may remember your selected interface language (Chinese or English).
  • Interface state: the workspace may remember interface preferences such as a collapsed sidebar, so your layout carries over.

What we do not currently use

The Site currently runs no third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) and no advertising or marketing tracking pixels. If we enable any in future, we will update this notice with the tool name, its purpose, a link to its privacy policy, and how to disable it.

Managing storage

You can inspect or clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing session cookies signs you out; clearing preferences resets the interface to its defaults. After clearing, you will need to sign in again and reselect your preferences.

External services

TypeSafe pages linked from the Site are separate services and may use their own cookies. Opening a link does not give the Site access to your TypeSafe account.

For information about Site accounts, your data rights, and how to contact us, see the Privacy Policy.
